The rules that keep Ayebridge safe for freelancers, agencies and their clients.
1. Purpose and who it applies to
Ayebridge exists so freelancers and agencies can work with their own clients: share progress, deliverables and documents, and collect approvals and the things they need. This policy sets out what is not allowed, so the Service stays safe and useful for everyone. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
It applies to every customer, team member and client contact, and to everything put into the Service. Customers are responsible for the people they invite.
2. Not a file hosting or distribution service
Files in Ayebridge support a project between you and the client contacts you invite. You must not use the Service:
- to publish or distribute files to the public, or to people who are not part of a client relationship;
- as general cloud storage, a backup service, or a download location for software, games, films, music or other media;
- to sell or deliver digital goods to buyers, or to share access in exchange for payment;
- to get around download limits or link expiry, for example by re-sharing signed links or automating downloads.
There are no public download pages in Ayebridge, file links expire after a few minutes, and storage is limited by plan. These limits are part of the design and not something to work around.
3. Prohibited content
You must not upload, share or link to content that:
- is illegal where you, your clients or we are located, or promotes illegal activity;
- infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, including pirated software, media or licensed materials, counterfeit goods and leaked material;
- sexualizes minors in any way, which we report to the relevant authorities;
- is pornographic or sexually explicit;
- threatens, harasses or incites violence or hatred against people or groups;
- contains someone else’s personal data that you have no right to share, or confidential information you are not allowed to disclose;
- is fraudulent or deceptive, such as phishing pages, fake documents or impersonation of another person or business.
4. Malware and harmful files
You must not upload or share viruses, ransomware, spyware or any other code meant to harm or gain unauthorized access to systems or data. Executable and script file types (for example .exe, .msi, .bat, .sh, .js, .apk, .dmg and .iso) are blocked on upload by both file extension and file type. Do not rename files or package them to get around this block.
If a project genuinely needs to hand over source code or a build, share it through the repository or distribution tools made for that purpose and link to them from your portal.
5. Prohibited activities
- Sending spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or inviting people you have no working relationship with.
- Collecting payments or payment card details through the Service. Quotes and invoices in Ayebridge are documents only.
- Probing, scanning or testing the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission (see our security contact below).
- Trying to access another workspace, account or portal, or data you are not authorized to see.
- Overloading or disrupting the Service, scraping it, or using automated means beyond the documented data export API.
- Getting around plan limits, sharing one seat between several people, or creating multiple trials for the same business.
- Reselling or sublicensing the Service, or using it to build a competing product.
6. Restricted and prohibited businesses
Our payment processor, Stripe, and the card networks do not allow certain kinds of business. You may not use Ayebridge to run or support a business on Stripe’s list of prohibited and restricted businesses (opens in a new tab), including cyberlocker or file-sharing services, adult content, the sale of pirated or unlicensed material, deceptive marketing such as fake reviews or testimonials, or anything else on that list that Stripe has not approved for us.
7. Enforcement
When we learn of a possible breach of this policy, we may, depending on how serious it is:
- contact the workspace Owner and ask for the problem to be fixed;
- make a file version unavailable or remove content;
- record a strike against the workspace;
- suspend the workspace or particular users, or block invitations;
- terminate the account under our Terms, and report illegal activity to the authorities.
We usually warn first. For serious harm, such as malware, abuse of minors or clearly illegal content, we act straight away. Repeat copyright infringement is handled under our Copyright and Takedown Policy. If you think we made a mistake, reply to our message or email abuse@ayebridge.com and we will review the decision.
8. Reporting abuse
Report content or behavior that breaks this policy on our report abuse page or by email to abuse@ayebridge.com. Copyright complaints follow our Copyright and Takedown Policy. Security vulnerabilities go to security@ayebridge.com. Include the portal address and as much detail as you can. We review every report.
9. Changes to this policy
Sianipar Consults LLC may update this policy, for example when the law or Stripe’s requirements change. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, email workspace Owners at least 30 days in advance.
