Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated · Version 2026-11-02

How refunds and cancellations work for Ayebridge subscriptions, in plain terms.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to every paid Ayebridge subscription, monthly or yearly, sold by Sianipar Consults LLC. We are the seller: we decide and issue refunds ourselves, and Stripe, our payment processor, returns the money to your payment method. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

The free trial costs nothing and never turns into a paid plan on its own, so there is nothing to refund or cancel for a trial. If you do not choose a plan, the workspace becomes read-only when the trial ends.

2. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not happy with Ayebridge, ask within 30 days of the first payment for a plan and we will refund that payment in full. This applies to every plan and to both monthly and yearly billing. You do not need to give a reason.

“First payment” means the first charge when a workspace starts a paid subscription, including any tax charged with it. The 30 days are counted from the date of that charge.

A refund under the guarantee cancels the subscription straight away. The workspace becomes read-only at once; nothing is deleted, and you can subscribe again whenever you like.

3. Renewal charges

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. If a renewal charge was not what you wanted, for example because you forgot to cancel, we refund it in full if both of these are true:

  • you ask within 14 days of the renewal charge; and
  • nobody in the workspace has used it since it renewed: no uploads, updates, approval requests, requests, documents or other changes by your team.

When we refund a renewal, we cancel the subscription at the same time and the workspace becomes read-only. If you asked for the refund because you meant to be on a different plan or billing period, tell us and we will move you to that plan instead of canceling.

4. Other charges and partial periods

Outside the two cases above, payments are not refunded, and we do not refund the unused part of a billing period when you cancel. This includes the remaining months of a yearly plan after the first 30 days. Moving to a lower plan takes effect straight away and leaves a prorated credit that is applied to your next invoices; it is not paid out as a refund.

There are some exceptions where we always refund the unused part of the current billing period:

  • we terminate your account without cause, or stop offering the Service;
  • we remove a feature that is a material part of the plan you paid for, and you cancel because of it;
  • you were charged in error, for example twice for the same period;
  • the law that applies to you requires a refund.

When you upgrade or switch billing period during a period, the Stripe customer portal shows any prorated charge or credit before you confirm. Credits are applied to future invoices rather than paid out.

5. How to ask for a refund

Email support@ayebridge.com from the email address you use to sign in, and tell us the name of your workspace. That is all we need: no forms, no phone calls. If you write from another address, we may ask you to confirm the request from the account email so that only the account holder can request a refund.

We reply within 1–2 business days and confirm by email once the refund has been issued.

6. How refunds are paid

Refunds are issued through Stripe to the payment method used for the original charge. We cannot send a refund to a different card or account. Refunds are made in US dollars and include any tax charged on the refunded payment.

After we issue a refund, it usually appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Sometimes the original charge simply disappears from the statement instead of a separate refund line appearing. If you cannot see it after 10 business days, tell us and we will give you a reference number that your bank can use to trace it.

7. How to cancel

You can cancel a subscription at any time, online, in a few clicks:

  1. Sign in as the workspace Owner or an Admin and open Billing in your workspace.
  2. Select “Manage subscription”. This opens the Stripe customer portal.
  3. Choose “Cancel subscription” and confirm.

If you cannot use the portal, email support@ayebridge.com from your account email and we will cancel for you. Canceling and asking for a refund are separate: canceling stops future charges, and a refund returns a payment you have already made. If you want both, cancel and email us.

8. What happens when you cancel

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full access until then, and you are not charged again.
  • If you change your mind before the period ends, you can renew from the same page and nothing changes.
  • At the end of the period, the workspace becomes read-only: you and your client contacts can still sign in, view and download, but nothing can be added or changed.
  • Nothing is deleted. We keep the workspace for at least 30 days, and we email the Owner at least 14 days before we delete a read-only workspace. You can export your data, or subscribe again to unlock it, at any time before then.
  • A refund cancels the subscription straight away and the workspace becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted, and you can subscribe again at any time. If you ask for a renewal refund because you wanted a different plan, tell us and we will move you to that plan instead of canceling.

9. What you see at checkout

Before you pay, Stripe Checkout shows the plan, the billing period, the price, any tax and the total, and asks you to agree to our Terms and this policy. The pricing page and checkout both state the 30-day money-back guarantee. Prices in USD. Applicable sales tax/VAT is calculated at checkout.

10. Your statutory rights

This policy adds to, and does not limit, any rights you have under the law that applies to you. For example, if you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days. Because the Service starts as soon as you subscribe, that right may end once you start using it, where the law allows and you agreed to that at checkout. Our 30-day money-back guarantee covers that period anyway.

11. Please contact us before disputing a charge

If you do not recognize a charge or think it is wrong, please email billing@ayebridge.com or support@ayebridge.com first. Charges appear on statements as AYEBRIDGE.COM. Most problems are solved quickly by email, and a refund from us reaches you sooner than a bank dispute.

If you do open a dispute with your bank, we will respond to it with the information the bank asks for, such as the record of your agreement to our Terms and this policy. While the dispute is open we may pause plan changes for the workspace.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date and version at the top of this page. A change that reduces your refund rights applies only to payments made after it takes effect, and we will email customers at least 30 days before such a change.
