What you can brand

Branding makes each client portal look like it comes from your business. Depending on your plan, you can set:

  • Logo. Shown at the top of every client portal and on quote and invoice documents.
  • Accent color. Used for buttons and highlights in portals and in emails sent to your clients.
  • Portal welcome message. A short note at the top of every client portal, for example how you like to work or how to reach you.
  • "Powered by Ayebridge" footer. Shown on lower plans, removable on higher plans.
  • Portal address. A custom subdomain or your own domain on higher plans.

An owner or admin sets all of these in Settings → Branding (/app/settings/branding). Changes apply to every client portal in the workspace.

Which plans include what

Option Available on
Logo, accent color, welcome message Freelancer Pro and above, and during the free trial
Remove "Powered by Ayebridge" Studio and above
Custom portal subdomain Studio and above
Custom domain Agency Plus and Scale

When an option is not on your plan, the settings page shows which plan includes it. See pricing for full plan details.

  1. Under Logo, select Upload logo.
  2. Choose a PNG, JPG or SVG file of up to 1 MB.

A wide logo on a transparent background works best, because the portal header is light. Keep important details large enough to read at small sizes.

Accent color and welcome message

  1. Under Color and welcome message, enter an Accent color in hex format, such as #155E75.
  2. Write your Portal welcome message (plain text, up to 1,000 characters).
  3. Check the Preview next to the form, then select Save branding.

Pick a color dark enough for white text to stay readable on buttons. If your brand color is very light, use a darker shade from your palette.

A practical welcome message might be: "Welcome to your project portal. You will find our latest work, updates and approvals here. Reply to any email from this portal if you have a question."

Custom portal subdomain

On Studio and above, you can give your portals an address such as yourstudio.ayebridge.com.

  1. Under Custom subdomain, enter the name you want.
  2. Select Save subdomain.

Pick something short and recognizable. Each subdomain can only be used by one workspace.

Custom domain

On Agency Plus and Scale, you can serve portals from a domain you own, such as clients.yourstudio.com.

  1. Under Custom domain, enter the domain and select Save domain.
  2. At your domain provider, add the CNAME record shown on the page.
  3. Wait for verification. The status shows Pending DNS until the record is detected, then Active.

DNS changes can take a while to spread. If the status shows Needs attention, check the record for typos and make sure no other record exists for the same name.

If you change plans

If you move to a plan that does not include an option, portals fall back to the default for that option. For example, the "Powered by Ayebridge" footer reappears. Your saved settings are kept, so they come back if you upgrade again.
